Dimensions of Radionics, David V. Tansley, Brotherhood of Life Publishing, New Mexico, 1977.   *****

If Radionics were a university subject, then this book would be at the 108 level.  The field of radionics is so broad that it is difficult to deal with it effectively in just one book and so the author must be excused for not writing comprehensively on the subject.  And this is not the first book in the series by Tansley.   It is preceded by Radionics and the Subtle Anatomy of Man.  In order to understand the material in this book, certain prerequisites are needed.  The reader should have a grasp of the nature of the Life Force, known alternatively by many names such as the Odic Force or Orgone energy.   Knowledge of the work of the Theosophists is necessary.  And a practical understanding of classical homeopathy, the parent science of radionic therapy, is necessary.

I would caution the student not to get bogged down in a lot of jargon and to ignore certain terminology that might be troublesome.  For instance, the pagan may be disturbed by the Theosophists use of the term “Christ Self.”  The westerner or Christian may be disturbed by a term like “Buddhic” or “Braman” in the descriptions of the subtle anatomy.  Understand that these principles are universal and that these are simply terms used to describe these concepts for lack of, probably, better terminology.

An understanding of homeopathic philosophy, if not practical homeopathy, is essential to the understanding of radionic therapy.   This will be another entire area of study for the uninitiated that will require some concentration and desire for understanding.  It is most important to understand Samuel Hahnemann’s theory of miasms and psora as causes of disease and to understand homeopathic treatment using nosodes.

Dimensions of Radionics helps to deepen the understanding of how disease is caused.  It provides a cohesive theory about how man comes into existence.  It tells how one subtle body influences another and lays a groundwork for further exploration of the subtle anatomy.   The author deals bravely and rationally with the subjects of distance healing and kinesiology.  He lays groundwork for the beginning practitioner of how to go about diagnosing and treating diseases of the body and soul.  I recommend this book with only the reservation that it is not light reading for one with only casual interest in the subject of radionics.
